The Premier Gala Party is Delayed...

but take heart, we will party on!

Thanks to an Angel from the sky (we can’t tell you who), we found out that the movie is not yet in production because of the recent screenwriter’s strike. The movie is now scheduled for release in 2009.

In the meantime, we will continue to keep you posted and for those of you who have already signed up and those of you who had conflicting engagements on that date and were not planning on attending the Premiere Gala, we will have a mini celebration on Sunday, June 22nd with a special little get-together.

I can tell you its name. It’s called the “Goose Egg Netting Ball”. It is a riot, it is beautiful, it is useful, it is Mazal’s style!

To make up for the delay of the movie, I  will recreate and publish the pattern for the silk sweater I knitted for Jimmy two years ago. The silk sweater of love! The silk sweater everybody admires. The silk sweater he wore on the original “Orient Express” from Paris to Istanbul. The silk sweater which should be called “Taj Mazal”. I was inspired by the love story of “Taj Mahal”; a story of a husband who built a significantly beautiful shrine for his wife so that she would never leave him.

If you would like to knit or crochet an outfit for our Premiere Gala (we certainly have some time now) while we wait for the film, let me enlighten you with the color scheme, it is yellow, black and white.
